WANT TO BECOME IELTS/PTE TRAINER?

IELTS Trainers is an 18-hour workshop designed to help you prepare students to take the IELTS exam. This is the ideal course for anyone who wants to start out in delivering IELTS preparation courses, teachers currently working in an educational context or CELTA graduates. As prior knowledge of the IELTS exam is not mandatory, the course is also suitable for those who have a background in soft skills or who wish to make a career change. Participants should have a high Intermediate or Advanced level of English (IELTS band 6.0 and above) with excellent written and oral communication skills.

Holders of the Pearson Certified Instructor Certificate will be able to plan courses and lessons, analyse the challenges faced by students and teach students to take the PTE Academic high stakes exam in tandem with improving their level of English overall.

Fully attend 5 days of training, consisting of 30 hours, about the PTE Academic exam, covering the structure of the test, the benefits of digital testing, tips for students and how to teach to the exam, discussion of local challenges, lesson planning and how to find resources.
Complete the pre-training task, as well as 4 further tasks over the 2 interim days, and one final exit task which demonstrates how participants have applied the learning.
